A BRIEF OVERVIEW OF YOUR PURCHASE
1 | SCHEDULE CONSULTATION
Our initial meeting establishes expectations for my role as your agent. I will review the process and answer all of your questions.
2 | GET PRE-APPROVED
Get pre-approved for a mortgage to explore how your desired monthly payment translates to purchase price.
3 | SHOP FOR HOMES
Once you determine your price range, it is time to start your home search! I will give you access to live data from the MLS and provide you instant alerts to homes as soon as they hit the market.
4 | MAKE AN OFFER
Once we’ve found the right home, I will work with you to create a competitive offer. I will help you negotiate a fair price and favorable conditions for your purchase.
5 | NEGOTIATE INSPECTION
When your offer is accepted, I will guide you through the inspection process, including any negotiations that may arise if issues are identified that you wish for the seller to address.
6 | ORDER APPRAISAL + TITLE
After all terms are finalized, I coordinate with your lender to order an appraisal, which is a third party opinion of the home’s market value. I also arrange for title services.
7 | CLEAR UNDERWRITING
Your lender will ask for documentation required to complete your file, and the underwriter will review everything and give final approval for your mortgage.
8 | ATTEND CLOSING
Finally! Closing brings buyers and sellers together to transfer ownership of the property. You will leave as a homeowner with keys to your new home!
